Cnc production machinist wanted in Southend-on-Sea

Now hiring: we are hiring a cnc production machinist in Southend-on-Sea, England. You will be based in a precision engineering workshop. Ideal candidate: • Minimum 2 years on CNC lathes with Fanuc or Siemens controls • Confident with micrometers, vernier calipers and bore gauges • Able to hold tolerances to ±0.01 mm The role involves: • Change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear • Set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54) • Read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances • Set up workpieces in three-jaw chucks and collets At least 5 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. £3,050 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
