Urgent requirement: we are hiring a QC technician in Tehama County, California. The job is at a food processing unit. Day to day you will operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools; verify dimensions against the tolerance limits on the technical drawing; compare components against approved samples and engineering drawings; inspect welds, paint finish and surface defects under inspection lighting; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items. Ideal candidate: • Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping • ITI or diploma in a mechanical or production trade Six days a week, one day off.
