GTAW welder wanted in Caroline County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a GTAW welder in Caroline County, Maryland. You will work on a structural steel site. On a typical shift you will grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish; tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run; back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise; select AC for aluminium and DC for stainless and mild steel. What we are looking for: • Steady hand and good hand-eye coordination • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • ITI or trade certificate in welding an advantage At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
