Heavy goods vehicle driver • Polk County, Texas

Great opportunity: we are hiring a heavy goods vehicle driver in Polk County, Texas. You will be based at a haulage company. Day to day you will present documents at weighbridges and check posts; operate tail-lifts and pump trucks during loading and unloading; reverse and carry out blind-side manoeuvres at loading bays; couple and uncouple the trailer and check the fifth-wheel lock; plan routes and rest stops in line with driving-hours rules. What we are looking for: • Valid digital tachograph card • Valid HGV/LGV Class 1 (C+E) licence • Willing to take on night and multi-day trips Rotating shifts.
