We are recruiting: we are hiring a MIG/MAG welder in Nance County, Nebraska. On a typical shift you will set the wire feed speed and voltage to suit the plate thickness; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence; load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; check welds for porosity, undercut and lack of penetration. Requirements: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Comfortable welding mild steel, stainless and aluminium • Steady hand and good eyesight for tight tolerances Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
