The role involves fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; record output and downtime on the production sheet; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts 2+ years on the tools preferred.
