Garment presser wanted in Franklin County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a garment presser in Franklin County, North Carolina. You will be based at a dry cleaner's. Day to day you will check every piece for scorch marks, shine and water spots; fuse interlinings and fusible tape on the fusing press; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. You should have: • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough. Pay around $3,200 per month, based on your experience. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
