Wood machinist wanted in Saint Tammany Parish

Immediate opening: we are hiring a wood machinist in Saint Tammany Parish, Louisiana. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of timber types, grades and fixings • NVQ Level 2/3 in Carpentry and Joinery or equivalent You will assemble bespoke and flat-pack kitchen units and fit worktops; cut mortise-and-tenon and dovetail joints with chisels and a mallet; check work for level, plumb and square with a spirit level; lay laminate, engineered and solid wood flooring; measure and mark out timber using a tape, square and marking gauge; build and erect roof trusses, rafters and stud partitions.
