Production welder wanted in Johnson County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a production welder in Johnson County, Illinois. You will be based in a heavy engineering unit. Day to day you will load ER70S-6 wire spools and check the drive rolls; maintain the torch liner, earth clamp and gas hose; strike and hold a stable short-circuit or spray-transfer arc; weld in flat, horizontal and vertical-up positions; bevel and grind the joint edges clean before welding; control distortion with a balanced welding sequence. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on MIG/MAG (GMAW) welding • ITI in welder trade or equivalent • Knowledge of short-circuit and spray-transfer modes Part-time with flexible hours. $4,400 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
