Foundry labourer • Yazoo County, Mississippi

Join our team: we are hiring a foundry labourer in Yazoo County, Mississippi. You will apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; carry out shakeout and knock the castings out of the sand; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to lift heavy moulding boxes and castings • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding • Able to read simple casting drawings and job cards Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. We offer $4,700 per month plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
