Immediate opening: we are hiring a diesel mechanic in Catahoula Parish, Louisiana. You will be based on the workshop ramps. The role involves: • Diagnose engine faults using an OBD-II scan tool • Bleed the brake hydraulic lines and check pad wear • Estimate repair costs and order the right parts • Replace brake pads, discs and callipers • Replace exhaust systems and catalytic converters • Check and top up coolant, brake fluid and power-steering fluid What we are looking for: • Comfortable working in inspection pits and on ramps • Sound knowledge of petrol and diesel engines • Good eyesight and methodical fault-finding Pay around $3,100 per month, based on your experience.
