Vertical milling machine operator wanted in Pottawatomie County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a vertical milling machine operator in Pottawatomie County, Kansas. You will be based at an automotive components factory. Day to day you will carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; run first-off parts and check dimensions before batch production; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square. You should have: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • Able to grind and set HSS cutters Pay around $170 per day, based on your experience. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
