Civil works labourer — Howard County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Howard County, Texas. You will work on a high-rise construction site. Day to day you will clear debris and sweep the slab before the next pour; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; fix and strip shuttering and formwork for beams and columns; mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate. Requirements: • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker • Physically fit and comfortable working at height 4+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
