Motor grader operator • McDonough County, Illinois

We are recruiting: we are hiring a motor grader operator in McDonough County, Illinois. You will work at a stone quarry. Your main tasks: • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Operate the boom, stick and bucket to dig, lift and place material • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects You should have: • Good depth perception and hand-eye coordination • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Meals and transport allowance provided. We offer $5,400 per month plus benefits. Contact us to fix an interview.
