Join our team: stamping press operator (North Carolina)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a stamping press operator in Tyrrell County, North Carolina. You will work in a sheet metal stamping unit. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit to stand a full shift and lift blanks up to 20 kg • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards The role involves: • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed • Fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Record output and downtime on the production sheet • Top up the press hydraulic oil and grease the slide ways 2+ years on the tools preferred.
