Gas meter installer wanted in Green County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a gas meter installer in Green County, Wisconsin. You will be based at a busy gas installation company. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Competent in pipe threading, brazing and PE electrofusion On the job you will handle: • Locate and repair gas leaks and replace corroded pipe sections • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate • Braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints • Install flue and chimney terminals and check for adequate ventilation • Fix pipe clips, brackets and wall sleeves and sleeve pipe through walls • Test combustion and flue gases with a flue gas analyser Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough.
