Now hiring: we are hiring a refrigeration field service technician in Mississippi County, Missouri. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Physically fit to lift compressors and carry ladders Day-to-day duties: • Replace compressors, filter driers and expansion valves • Measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight Full-time, day shift.
