TIG welder wanted in Carroll County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a TIG welder in Carroll County, Illinois. You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Your main tasks: • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Full-time with occasional weekends.
