Vacancy available: we are hiring an automotive paint technician in Sweet Grass County, Montana. You will be based in an automotive paint and panel workshop. Ideal candidate: • Keen attention to detail and a steady hand • Confident with wet-sanding and machine polishing • Able to read and match factory paint codes The role involves: • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Mix two-pack (2K) clear coat with hardener in the correct ratio • Blend new paint into adjacent panels for an invisible repair • Mix and tint paint to match the customer's colour code • Strip clean the spray guns and change the booth filters • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
