Now hiring: we are hiring an offshore rigger in Hughes County, Oklahoma. You will be based in a steel fabrication yard. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working at height and in confined spaces • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles Day to day you will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; check sling angles to stay within the working load limit; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; guide loads through tight openings into their final position.
