Join our team: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Yancey County, North Carolina. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. On a typical shift you will run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts; adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings. Requirements: • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Attention to detail and steady hands for accurate loading Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
