You will prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job; strike and hold a stable arc with a non-consumable tungsten electrode; carry out 6G pipe welds where required. Requirements: • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day • Proven experience with TIG/GTAW on stainless and aluminium 5+ years on the tools preferred. $2,250 per project, negotiable for the right hands.
