We are recruiting: mechanical press operator (West Virginia)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in Putnam County, West Virginia. You will be based at a busy press shop. The role involves apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean; operate mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic power presses; watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts; punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges. What we are looking for: • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. $170 per day, negotiable for the right hands.
