Requirements: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Able to read isometric and site drawings • Clean, methodical and safety-conscious Day-to-day duties: • Check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray • Set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge • Carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply • Install gas meters, regulators and isolation valves • Purge air from the lines and commission appliances to the correct gas rate 4+ years on the tools preferred.
