Blocklayer wanted in Inverclyde

Now hiring: we are hiring a blocklayer in Inverclyde, Scotland. You will work at a residential building site. On a typical shift you will laying bricks to the line, level and plumb; mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; checking every course for height and level with a gauge rod; brushing the wall down and removing mortar snots as you go; spreading and furrowing mortar beds with the trowel; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts. What we are looking for: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks Part-time with flexible hours.
