Gardener wanted in Yolo County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a gardener in Yolo County, California. The job is in a botanical garden. You will apply fertiliser, compost and mulch to beds; lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers; rake up fallen leaves, grass clippings and garden waste; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers. You should have: • Previous experience as a gardener or in grounds maintenance • Pesticide spraying certificate (PA1/PA6) an advantage • Able to safely operate mowers, strimmers and hedge trimmers At least 6 year(s) in a similar role.
