Head butcher • Schley County, Georgia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a head butcher in Schley County, Georgia. You will work in a hotel or restaurant butchery. Day to day you will take customer orders and advise on cuts and cooking; dress the chilled counter and rotate stock by date; stuff and link fresh sausages with casings; monitor chiller and freezer temperatures to keep the cold chain; trim fat, sinew and silver skin off the cuts. What we are looking for: • Food hygiene / HACCP certificate • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off.
