Urgent requirement: we are hiring a vertical transportation technician in Miami County, Indiana. Ideal candidate: • Sound electrical competence in three-phase and low-voltage wiring • Comfortable working at height and in confined hoistways Day-to-day duties: • Fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork • Adjust door operator timing and re-levelling accuracy • Fault-find control circuits with a multimeter and test instruments • Set and test the overspeed governor and safety gear • Measure rope tension and check for broken strands • Test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
