Civil works labourer — Madison County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a civil works labourer in Madison County, Illinois. The job is on a building construction site. On a typical shift you will backfill and ram down soil around the foundations; dig foundation trenches and pits with pick and shovel; break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker; pour and spread concrete, then compact it with a poker vibrator; hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors; load and unload trucks of cement, steel bar and aggregate. Ideal candidate: • Know how to mix concrete and mortar to the right ratio • Punctual and ready to do overtime when a pour demands it Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift.
