Wheel loader operator — City and Borough of Salford

Join our team: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in City and Borough of Salford, England. Your main tasks: • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment • Keep the cab clean and complete the daily machine logbook • Top up diesel, inspect hydraulic hoses for leaks and report defects What we are looking for: • Comfortable working long shifts in dust, heat and noise • Knowledge of pre-start inspections and basic machine maintenance • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence 6+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time, day shift. £15 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
