Urgent requirement: we are hiring an occupational health and safety officer in Chenango County, New York. You will be based on a high-rise building project. Your main tasks: • Update the risk register and method statements (RAMS) • Conduct job hazard analysis (JHA) on every new task • Run fire drills and check extinguishers, hydrants and alarm points • Investigate near-misses and incidents and file root-cause reports You should have: • Minimum 2-3 years on construction or factory sites • Valid first aid and basic firefighting training • Physically fit for full-site inspections on foot Full-time, day shift.
