Immediate opening: we are hiring a mechanical press operator in San Saba County, Texas. The job is in a metal fabrication workshop. The role involves record output and downtime on the production sheet; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; fit and check guards, light curtains and safety interlocks before starting; clear scrap and offcuts from the die area; deburr and stack finished components for the next operation. You should have: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts $3,300 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
