PVC window fabricator wanted in Boone County

Now hiring: we are hiring a PVC window fabricator in Boone County, Illinois. The job is on site fitting windows in new-build flats. Day-to-day duties: • Check the frame for square by measuring the diagonals • Fit EPDM gaskets and brush-pile weather seals along the rails • Glaze the double-glazed units, set the packers and bed the glass square • Cut and weld mullions and transoms into the frame • Insert galvanised steel reinforcement into the profile chambers and screw-fix it Ideal candidate: • Able to read cutting lists and fabrication drawings • Driving licence for measure-up and site-fitting visits • Accurate measuring and squaring to within a couple of millimetres 6+ years on the tools preferred.
