Urgent requirement: we are hiring a sheet metal welder in Buckingham County, Virginia. You will work in a sheet-metal fabrication unit. Ideal candidate: • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard Your main tasks: • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Weld thin stainless steel sheet without burning through • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
