Stainless steel welder • Sheridan County, North Dakota

Vacancy available: we are hiring a stainless steel welder in Sheridan County, North Dakota. You will be based in a pipe-spool fabrication yard. The role involves back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); weld in flat, horizontal, vertical and overhead positions; prep and fit up the joint, then lay tack welds before the full run; control heat input so thin sheet does not warp; inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow.
