Scaffolding charge hand wanted in Rhondda Cynon Taf

Great opportunity: we are hiring a scaffolding charge hand in Rhondda Cynon Taf, Wales. Your main tasks: • Fix transoms and bracing to keep the structure square and rigid • Fit guardrails, mid-rails and toe boards to every working platform • Set out base plates and sole boards on firm, level ground • Read scaffold drawings and work to the agreed loading class • Dismantle the scaffold in reverse sequence and lower materials safely • Inspect couplers, boards and tubes for damage before use Requirements: • Good head for heights and comfortable on open platforms • Awareness of TG20 and SG4 safe working practice • Full use of harness, lanyard and fall-arrest equipment Rotating shifts.
