Restoration bricklayer — Scotland County

Join our team: we are hiring a restoration bricklayer in Scotland County, North Carolina. You will mixing mortar to the right consistency with sand, cement and plasticiser; installing damp-proof courses, lintels and cavity trays; setting out walls from the drawings and marking the brick gauge; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge. Ideal candidate: • Physically fit for lifting bricks and blocks all day • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Reliable timekeeping and able to hit daily brick targets Full-time with occasional weekends.
