Pipe tig welder — Island County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a pipe tig welder in Island County, Washington. The job is at a precision engineering workshop. Day-to-day duties: • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Set up the argon shielding gas and check the flow rate at the regulator • Select the tungsten type and gas cup size to suit the job What we are looking for: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Steady hands and good close-up eyesight • Able to pass a practical weld test on the first day Freshers welcome — about 6 years of practice is enough.
