Great opportunity: reinforcement fitter (Michigan)

Now hiring: we are hiring a reinforcement fitter in Gogebic County, Michigan. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. On a typical shift you will tie bar intersections with binding wire using a tie hook or pliers; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman; install chairs and bar supports to hold up the top mat. What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites Full-time, day shift. Pay around $2,600 per month, based on your experience. Walk-in interviews this week.
