Immediate opening: rebar worker (Virginia)

Join our team: we are hiring a rebar worker in Shenandoah County, Virginia. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Day-to-day duties: • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman What we are looking for: • Sound knowledge of lap lengths, cover and bar spacing • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Full-time with occasional weekends.
