Great opportunity: cement mason (Florida)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a cement mason in Calhoun County, Florida. The job is in a residential housing project. You should have: • Willing to wear safety boots, helmet and full PPE • Sound knowledge of concrete grades, slump and curing periods On the job you will handle: • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Carry out slump tests and cast cubes for the lab • Compact fresh concrete with immersion poker vibrators to clear honeycombing • Cut control and expansion joints at the correct spacing At least 4 year(s) in a similar role.
