Immediate opening: we are hiring a hydraulic press operator in Rockcastle County, Kentucky. You will be based in a forging and pressing unit. Ideal candidate: • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout • ITI in fitter, machinist or sheet metal trade preferred • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses On a typical shift you will set up and change stamping dies and tooling; carry out first-off inspection and report rejects to the supervisor; check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges; run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. $2,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Share your details and we will call you back.
