Safety officer — Cheatham County

Now hiring: we are hiring a safety officer in Cheatham County, Tennessee. You will work in a chemical processing unit. Your main tasks: • Run the permit-to-work system for hot work and confined-space entry • Carry out toolbox talks with the crew before each shift • Record accident statistics and keep the safety logbook up to date • Enforce lockout-tagout (LOTO) on energised and rotating equipment • Deliver site induction to new workers, subcontractors and visitors • Verify lifting gear, slings, shackles and crane test certificates What we are looking for: • Confident enough to halt unsafe work on the spot • Able to read and prepare RAMS and method statements At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
