Tree and shrub pruner wanted in Hyde County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a tree and shrub pruner in Hyde County, North Carolina. You will work in a botanical garden. Day to day you will lay turf and oversow bare patches of lawn; mow and edge lawns with petrol and ride-on mowers; weed flower beds and borders by hand and with a hoe; dig over and turn the soil and prepare seedbeds; sharpen, clean and oil hand tools and mower blades; prune hedges, shrubs and ornamental trees with secateurs and hedge trimmers. What we are looking for: • Good knowledge of common plants, shrubs and seasonal planting • Understanding of pruning and watering schedules • Happy to work outdoors in all weather Six days a week, one day off.
