Argon arc welder wanted in Sanilac County

Immediate opening: we are hiring an argon arc welder in Sanilac County, Michigan. The job is in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. What we are looking for: • Can read fabrication drawings and welding symbols • Good eyesight for fine sheet-metal work • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces On the job you will handle: • Run butt, fillet, lap and corner joints to spec • Clamp and fit up components on the jig before welding • Sharpen tungsten electrodes and fit the correct gas cup size • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing Rotating shifts.
