Great opportunity: we are hiring a fettler in Williamson County, Tennessee. You will work in the fettling and dressing shop. Ideal candidate: • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection • Knowledge of green-sand and resin-bonded moulding The role involves skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; maintain crucibles, ladles and furnace linings; fettle and grind castings to remove flash and rough edges; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant.
