Visual inspection operator • City of Buena Vista, Virginia

Vacancy available: we are hiring a visual inspection operator in City of Buena Vista, Virginia. You will work in an automotive parts factory. On a typical shift you will segregate and quarantine defective or out-of-tolerance items; calibrate and verify hand gauges before each shift; carry out first-article and in-process checks on the production line; check packaging, labelling and barcode accuracy before dispatch; operate height gauges, profile projectors and coordinate measuring tools. You should have: • Understanding of AQL sampling and tolerance limits • Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems 2+ years on the tools preferred. Six days a week, one day off.
