You should have: • Physically fit and able to lift and carry heavy slabs • Good eye for joints, levels and overall finish • Own hand tools an advantage Day-to-day duties: • Level and align slabs so joints stay tight and surfaces sit flat • Lift and handle heavy slabs safely using suction lifters and trolleys • Fix marble cladding to building facades with anchors and clamps • Polish stone surfaces to a high gloss using diamond pads and polishing compound • Seal natural stone against staining with impregnating sealers Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
