Gtaw welder wanted in Phillips County

Join our team: we are hiring a gtaw welder in Phillips County, Kansas. Day to day you will inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion; read the WPS and weld to the specified parameters; set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal; back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring); feed the filler rod by hand while controlling the weld puddle. What we are looking for: • Valid welder certification (ASME IX / ISO 9606 an advantage) • Physically fit to work in confined spaces and at height • Comfortable working to tight fit-up tolerances 2+ years on the tools preferred.
