Now hiring: we are hiring a mason's helper in Jackson County, Tennessee. Day-to-day duties: • Cure freshly laid concrete by sprinkling water for several days • Stack and store materials safely to avoid wastage • Mix concrete and mortar to the correct ratio, by hand or in a pan mixer • Break out old walls and concrete with a jackhammer breaker • Backfill and ram down soil around the foundations • Hand tools and materials up to workers on the upper floors Requirements: • Physically fit and comfortable working at height • Basic knowledge of hand tools like shovel, trowel and breaker Full-time, day shift. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. $3,100 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
